Link for deleting or changing service provider name

http://xlr8.us/hofo/ Use this info when changing or deleting your service providers name. Use at your own risk, found this when searching for what ringers you can get away with deleting without any problems.

Link for changing service provider animation

If you want to change the (Operator) Startup/Goodbye Animation on your Moto check out my (free) Java Installer at wap.merinda.com

The app is still in beta but worked pretty well with some phones I tested. People with a V180, V220, V300, V400, V500, V505, V525, V600, E550, V550, V551, v630, V635, V620, V80, E398 and V3 are able to download the program (no guarantee it will work with all phones listed though)

2 minutes to your new Goodbye-Screen Animation:

On your phone: Start Browser-> wap.merinda.com -> choose the animation you want to install -> download the Java app -> start the program -> the installer then asks for confirmation to start the browser to download the animation you have selected -> download the animation and use "store only" (don't rename the file) - Resume the Java program -> a list with all installed Goodbye-Screen animations is presented -> select the one you want to watch on shutdown.

Have fun and give some feedback if it works for you and if it does not (so other people with the same phone don't have to try)

Regards,
Klaus

you can now use motoskins to get rid of anything and everything on your display. Or you can move things around to where you want them. It's much easier. Here ya go.

I tried by editing the seems for my v551 and then reuploading them and they did not upload and i followed the instructions. I want the phone to say t-mobile rather than cingular on the smaller outter display... i edited the exact 2 seems that said cingular so they said t-mobile and it just wouldn't give me the okay when re-uploading.. any suggestions?!?

Nokias can be easily unlocked w/o the need for software, just go into the Nokia forum, as far as Motorola phones go, no unlock codes here.

Reminder, CFP does not unlock phones, don't ask.
