karmapolice - if you got one unlocked then yes you could use it, many people do, however, you cannot use some features until your carrier actually supports it (example-video conference)
Binx75075 - the PEBL is nice, and i definitely dont recommend tha a630 at all, too old and too many bugs

The more I think about it the more I'd rather have a V3i, just due to the plastic nature of the V3x.

BTW, any update on when Cingular will start offering the V3i?

Hi All! Anyone heard of Cingular getting a new BlackBerry? The other day I went to my Cingular store to upgade to the 8700C and my sales rep strongly recommended that I hold off for about a month or two because a new Blackberry is coming in that is thinner, lighter and ALOT faster (data) than the 8700C. Anyone have any info???

Well after much anticipation cingular finally released the V3i (the rzar version of the slvr, itunes phone) nice but only comes in one color (a metelic grey) looks nice yes but I'm looking for more colors and a lower price. $269 upgrade cost I beleive I'll wait till it drops under 150

I bought the V3i off a dealer in Colorado(ebay deal) in the Maroon color. What a fantastic phone. Does the iTune thing as well as MP3's. I am registered with Cingular. Love the phone.
