I see many references to tethering a phone or
PDA to a laptop, using a USB cable. According to the Verizon rep, in the store, they don't allow thethering at all except for one Blackberry model.
The $60/mo data plan gets you a PC card and access to the data network, which is different from access from the
PDA, which is about $45 / mo extra in a voice / data package.
So, what's the real story? Why can't you tether the Samsung
PDA, if you pay the $60/mo? Why do they care how you access the data network?
