Hey everyone, I download the driver and MPT. My problem is when I try to connect my phone to the computer I get this message

"Power Surge On Hub Port"
A USB device has exceeded the powe limits of its hub port. For assistance in solving this problem, click this message.

Can someone please help me? Thanks

hmm

i this problem fits into a different category

if yur using a usb hub port.. try taking some usb cables out of it or try connecting your phone to the cpu directly(via not using usb hub)

No I'm not using a USB hub and I've tried taking out all the things that were connect to the USB port but I still get the same message.

Hi guys! Is there an easy way to transfer pics from my V220 to my computer? I have a USB cable, and the puter recognizes my phone...but says I need additional software. I downloaded the "Tools" which didn't help. Obviously I'm a newbie

and any help is appreciated. BTW, I'm still on an old AT&T plan.

I have MPT Ver 4.0 installed, I have also installed the motorola drivers... (I thought)
No matter what, my computer will not AUTO DETECT when I plug in my phone.
and for the life of me I can't figure out how the heck to install the drivers anyother way...through CONTROL panel, I just run into roadblocks...
Is there a tutorial on this subject, I can't be the only one.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

i got mpt 3.3 and before it uptated to that i had 3.25 oro something and it wasn't detecting my v3c i just clicked on the v3.. everything worked fine on that the media studio everything.. but when i updated and it recongnized my v3c everything works but the media studio ... i need help any suggestions?

I just recently purchased a motorola Razor V3m and wanted to connected it to my puter. I have a usb cable that i got on ebay and it came with a cd but i don't think the cd is working. Where can i find the drivers that will make my phone and puter talk. Also is there special software that you need to create ring tones from song on your computer.... Kinda new at this ... HELP would be great!!!!!!! Thanks

i guess i also am one of the unlucky ones. have been trying for two days now to install usb modem..Modem is there, but won't query..so therefore, MPT doesn't find phone..I have cleared all usb ports except the 3 that were necessary, have tried different ports, have tried all, but no luck..someone out there must know how to get this modem to query???HELP

Thanks for the reply...I have done all of that before...the problem, is that even thought my device manager is listing a "usb modem" , when I go to "query" the modem, it does not recognize it....If I could get it to do that...setting up mobile phone tools should be a breeze...(for which I am grateful for the info)..Still need help..someone suggested...Port conflict, or comport stuff...I give up!!

Whenever it says to connect my Razr to the USB cord and it'll intall it automatically, it stops in the middle, the phone rings, and it says it could not connect, then when i look for V3c in the manual intall thing, it's not there.. V3 is the closest.. so i click it, then the phone pops up and says "Initializing.." then a little picture comes on to the phone and when i put the mouse over it it says "Mobile Not Connected"

er... how do i do this?

I have the software and the cable but i want to transfer games that i have downloaded from various websites. But the software is only for videos,music, syncing your phone and calender/adress book, and mms messeges. When you try transfering games you can only put it into the video,music or picture folders and when you try it says unsupported media file. If anyone knows i would really appreciate it.
