Cingular Coverage

I was wondering how good everyone found Cingular's coverage to be (in case my parents ever let me switch to a different provider, then I can have an idea of which ones are good). I know it's obviously different in different areas but I just wanted to know how people from different places thought it was.

cingular has alot of strong areas....southern illinois NOT being one of them. Overall good in western kentucky, people are happy most of the time.

Coverage here in Western Washington is good.

Here in Miami, cingular owns!

cingular has the largest voice and data network out of all the carriers. they also run on 850/1900 frequencies. the 850 frequency is able to punch through structures (such as a house) much better than what other carriers run on. if you go to the website or into a dealer there is a tool that can look up coverage on a specific address.

Any feedback for the NY/NJ/CT Metro area? Looking into switching from Sprint to Cingular but I hear pro's and con's about the service. I guess every carrier has their good and bad spots but just want to make sure its worth the swap.

I live in southeast Kansas and Cingular is the best here.

well i just order a new family line for my wife and i. im switching from sprint to cingular. sprint reall suck. drop calls. big time. well i dont know about cingular but i well keep you update on it. btw i have t-mobile for my mom and the the razr i got her is good no drop calls. im in the bronx.

What about Cingular coverage in Southwest Oklahoma; Hollis specifically?

I am thinking of switching from Verizon to Cingular but I have to go to Hollis Oklahoma often.

Florida coverage is great to me
