Motorola V3i MAROON - HELP!!!!!!!!

I got my new phone V3i with iTunes, VERY pretty phone. I have some issues however, 1. The phone won't stay charged; after charging over night it completely discharged after 6hrs of standby. 2. The phone recognized my SIM and carrier but after being on for a short period switched to a different carrier, making the phone useless. What problem(s) am I experiencing and how best to correct. I haven't loaded ANYTHING into the camera except the SIM and data cards. No iTunes , ringtones, ect. HELP!!!!!

Ok where did you get the phone? Ebay or from the manufacture directly?

I called everywhere locally and nobody had this model or knew when they would. I purchased the phone via Ebay. I have tracked down the trouble, a faulty battery that won't hold a charge. I went to a Cingular dealer yesteday and they wanted $43.00 for a replacement battery, Ebay has the identical battery for $3.99 plus $4.99 shipping/insurance. Where would you get yours?
