You're going to hear a lot of conflicting information about CDMA unlocking. Some people say it can be done (and technically it can) but most people will tell you it's a waste of time and you might as well save yourself the trouble. Most US and Canadian CDMA providers will not activate an unlocked CDMA phone, especially if they don't already sell the same model.
