FUSIC troubles

I have a data cable to connect my phone to my computer. I have no CD. I cannot find the phone under my computer, and it keeps saying found new hardware and then when I go to install it it won't work because I am missing something. Please help.

You need a program too to "see" your phone.
Bitpim is the program of choice. Welcome to BitPim
You may also need drivers for the cable to work properly.

Ya I figured that out last nite thank you. But now my phone won't actually connect to the computer. I keep getting error #678 "the remote computer won't respond" this was when using the sprint version of bitpim. So hopefully this will help.

Ok BitPim is kind of working, it says it is finding a "other phone on com5" but when i go to get/send data all the places to check and such are null as to keep me from using it. What is wrong?

I had to go to TOOLS then USB Flash Drive and then YES to connect to the computer. This connected the phone and came up on MY COMPUTER as an external drive...
