Hi, I have found an other great link which is really very easy to put ur ringtones on your verizon V3m phone by doing seem edits. It really does work. I did that to my phone and finally able to put my own ringtones on my phone.

why not use 'mp3 to ringtone gold'? it can make any kind ringtones that you want,and can save any part of your favorite mp3s to ringtone format. 64MB mp3 mobile phone can support more than 60 songs

OK,I have installed eveything like you said z12ub and I even did what you said to get the multimedia studio button to work , and it does. But everytime I try to send anything to my phone , it cant conect (error message) comes up , if I unplug the cable and replug it I can get the address book to come back as well as everything else untill I open multimedia studio and try to send to the phone.
What am I doing wrong to not be able to send my own ringtones?

I even changed my contacts using MTP but can not get multimedia studio to work right,it comes up fine but just wont work right.

hey guys im a newb I got the MPT to work on my pc I got a cingular razor and even changed some songs into ringtones my prob is how do I add some new songs on to the mpt I cant seem to find out how to add them the only ones I got on there are from when I first set it up I found them on my shared doucuments but none of my new stuff shows up

kay i have mobile phone tools, i have it installed, etc, but once its almost done connecting it says something along the lines of "you need to have a device connected to install" even though I do... whatt could be happening??!!

I really wish I had found this thread before I started my quest to get my Phone to connect with my pc. I did end up stumbling my way through it and make it happen. Good thread though.

what kind of computer do you have. most newer computers have bluetooth capabilities. that is not my point though. most newer computers have an interface between cellphones and the computer. if that is not there you should check out OpenMyCell.Com | Mobile Forums - OpenMyCell.Com Downloads
check you computer by: start>all programs>accessories>communication> hypertext terminal
