Motorola L2 Drivers

Could not find drivers for L2, already tried " Win2K/WinXP Motorola DriverPack, Version 2.9" - XP Pro. still won't detect the L2 phone. Is this is right s/w? Am I missing anything?

Thanks in advance

Re: Motorola L2 Drivers

Do you have Motorola Phone Tools (also known as MPT or Mobile Phone Tools)? This software is linked in the forums, just search for MPT. You will find a thread with a link to the installer for MPT version 4.04b. Install the software, and your phone should be recognized. If you still have problems, search the forums, There are lots of threads regarding fixes for MPT.

You just have to run 5 or 6 live updates. It'll restart the program a couple times, and ask you to restart your computer for what i believe is the second last update.

Re: Motorola L2 Drivers

I have had this problem as well with my L2 from work. Thanks for the advice. Now I can stick it to the man and customize my phone to my heart's content! No, seriously, I am sick of looking at the darn city logo. It's ugly. This will help.
