I'm a fairly new Fido customer, and so far buying a phone with a Fido pay as you go plan is not something I would do again; I would love to take this past week back and not even bother with it.
I'm not a big fan of paying 20 cents per minute, and everyone else I know pays nothing or very little for text messaging, but I'm paying 15 cents. The plan was to buy a 10 dollar a month phone card, but if I do this then I'm paying 30 cents per minute. Now I'm stuck buying 20 dollar a month phone cards, and that probably won't even last as I enjoy text messaging -- something I was told would be free -- and also 20 cents per minute; and we all know how fast those minutes fly past you. I also hear that refilling on hours is a long process.
With Rogers pay as you go, refilling was easy and fast.
If I like my phone, but dislike Fido, would it be possible to buy a new SIM card with a Rogers plan?
