PDA phone with out web plan

I'm thinking about getting the HTC 6800 but I'm really only interested in the sliding keyboard and windows capabilities. I KNOW the bell people are really going to push me to get a plan with IE but is it possible to just use my regular 200min/month evenings and weekends plan and NOT use the internet?

And the 6800 has WiFi, so you can certainly use that to access the internet via your device.

Ok so all I'm doing is upgrading with my $100 credit which means I have to pay the full handset price anyways so i can just keep my current plan?
