Unlock KRZR to CDMA Network

I don't know much about cell phone. I read a little bit about it though. I know that my carrier is Telus dans that it is a CDMA Network. I want to change my cell phone. If I buy an unlocked Motorola KRZR K1, can I convert it to Telus by just making a reflash on the cell phone?

Not sure if it will work, but I DO know that the Krzr K1 is a GSM phone. It will NOT work on a CDMA network (GSM requires a SIM card). The CDMA Krzr is the K1m(I have one). It works on large US carriers like Sprint and Verizon. I'd check with your provider, they will know for sure. The Krzr may not work on their network at all.

thank you for your reply. I had a Motorola KRZR K1 and I lost it. It was with Telus. I'm asking because I want to pay less than what they charge if I pay directly from them. All of this is, of course, if it is possible!!
