USB Drivers for U740 wanted

I got a data cable from Cellphoneshop, now I need the drivers for Winxp. There aren't any on the Samsung site. Does anyone know where I can get it? I hear that sometime in the near future Bitpim will support the U740 is that true?

Hmm... have you checked if the site had the disk to purchase or did the datacable come with one?

The Samsung site has no downloads for that model, I could find nothing at the Sprint site either. Is this phone to new for people to have these things working yet?

The site I got the data cable didn't show nor did it send a disk. Is this phone to new?

Possibly, it all depends on how fast the developers work on the software.

what exactly are you trying to do? If you're trying to transfer music files I think Verizon ( it that's your carrier) blocks features like this to enable the use of Vcast. For all my music files with verizon phones i just use the memory card and card reader and works like a charm.

I want to transfer MP3s or ringtones that I have created. I would rather not spend$.25 each to get them on my phones. My wife's and mine

If thats the case just grab a card reader and move files back and forth that way.

Hey i got them send me an email and ill send em, i got em on the cd from verizon, also now i want to unluck it since im not anymore at USA.
any suggestion on the code?

I haven't found this to be true on the SCH-u740. I can use a card reader to move music files over to be played as music, but I can't manually add ringtones. If you can add ringtones, maybe you can be more specific about the file format you use and where in the phone's directory tree you place the files?
