v3x keypad not working except On/Off

RAZR v3x keypad doesn't work, except the On/Off button. Monitor is fine and can recieve calls, but phone is not very functional without a keypad, can't call, can't get to vast phonebook, etc. Wine spill was suspected as the culprit, but opened bottom and took out keypad etc. and cleaned all circuits with rubbing alcohol and dried, put back together but acts the same. Any suggestions on what to try?

My RAZR v3xx keypad doesn't work except on/off key. Could I have locked the keypad inadvertantly, User Guide says nothing about a keypad lock/unlock feature.

Try pressing the menu then * star key.

Along with what Tony suggested above, you could also see if holding the "smart key" in for a second, which is located just below the volume keys on the left side of the phone.
I only remember the smart key locking the out keys once it was held in, but maybe it locked the keypad also.

You can try taking out the battery again and letting it sit out for a few days....If this doesn't work, you will most likely need to replace your phone.

PatsFanToo, I was just reading your other post here: v3x keypad not working except On/Off, in which you stated that your V3x got wet from a wine spill on the keypad. If the problem is related to moisture damage, you might have to replace the phone, or send it in to Motorola for repair.
