How do you disable internet browser??

Just trying to find out how to disable my browser button always seen to come on when bumped thanks in advance for your help...

1 Alright, if u have the vx8500, go to menu and press 0 seven times
2 If you have the vx8550 press ##program8550 (##77647268550), then press 0 six times.
3 Go to network select (3)
4 Go to mode preference (1)
5 Go to 1X only
6 You're done! Press end. Your phone may restart.
