#1 | | Mr Admin Guy | The following is how to put ringtones on your LG Voyager VX10000 for free... USB: - Install drivers from the Music Essentials Kit or install the VCast Music Manger from here: V CAST Music Manager Download
- Plug the phone in
- Start BitPim - Edit > Settings > Browse. Make sure the 'LGE CDMA USB Serial Port' is the port being used in the com port field.
- Set the phone type to LG-VX10000 - Get Phone Data.
- Go to Filesystem (if you don't have the Filesystem link then View > Show Filesystem), expand it, and navigate to \Brew\16452\lk\mr (or \Brew\10889\ringtones)
- Right click in the mr (or ringtones) folder and select "New"
- Browse to your ringtone and click "ok"
- Restart the phone.
Nothing other than the Filesystem tab will work unless the phone is supported as an option under "phonetype".
Bluetooth: - This is similar to the above but first you must pair the phone and pc and get the Serial BT DIAG profile to connect one time.
- With widcomm drivers you have "My Bluetooth Places" - go there and double click on the icon representing your phone.
- Double click the BT DIAG icon to connect.
- Take note of the com port that this connection uses (right click on the BT DIAG icon to see the port).
- Use this in the com port field in BitPim
- Follow the instructions for USB.
If you have some other Bluetooth drivers the process should be similar.

#2 | | Mr Admin Guy | Or if you want to pay for a transfer you can try e-mailing the file to your phone NUMBER@vzwpix.com

#5 | | Junior Member | Actually, my best friend gets all of her ringtones from Myxer (she has T-Mobile). I just tell her to save the sounds and send them to my Voyager. No hassle.

#7 | | Junior Member | When she gets the messages from Myzer, she saves the sounds to her sound gallery. From there, she attaches that sound to a picture message and sends them to me.
It's really easy. And the Voyager is SO new that it isn't even on Myxer yet. So it looks like we will have to do this for a long time. Lol.

#8 | | Mr Admin Guy | right, that's the same as e-mailing the file to your phone. Except the e-mail is converted to SMS.
Same idea, but you're getting that file from a 3rd party. I'm sure all Myzer is doing is e-mailing them as well. Try selecting a vx9900 on their service. I bet it will work.

if you want to put pictures on the phone, just drag them from your computer and drop them into this file.
if you want to save pictures from your phone and put them on your computer, right click on one of the pictures in the 10888 file, and just click save (then choose where you want to save it on your computer, and if you want to change the name).
hope this helped.
