Pictures Disappeared

Hi,

Yesterday I took about 10 pictures with my LG Chocolate, and everything was fine, when I got home I connected the phone to the computer with the USB cable and I saw the pictures on the computer , and when I tried to copy them to another folder the computer restarted and the pics disappeared !

I searched everywhere on the computer and the phone , I also tried the recover my files stuff etc ... but my pictures are still missing ! I just found some weird tmp files ...

And I also would know where can I know which version of the chocolate I have ?
And if I change my firmware what's gonna happen ?

Evidentially not. I have never heard of this happening before. Sounds like your computer deleted everything...both on your phone and on itself.

I've never owned a chocolate, but Verizon's UI should be the same on all their phones, so to check what version of firmware your running, go to:

Menu
Settings & Tools
Phone Info
SW/HW Version
Look at your SW Version and that will tell you your firmware version.

Changing your firmware will do nothing to your phone for the most part. It will update certain things of course, but if your worried about losing stuff like your ringtones, contacts, wallpapers, etc....don't worrry about it.....they won't be touched.

I don't even have this menu !! It's not a verizon one ! I live in Morocco and i bought it from the official company !
