i would say that it is a solid phone, at first their where some bugs but most are worked out. however.. if your looking to upgrade to somthing with a full keyboard, i would recomend the palm centro, it has a full keyboard, touchscreen, googlemaps and most other features that a standard palm has, and its only about fifty more dollars, go to your local sprint stoe and demo both... (i also work in sprint repair store and both are solid phones)

Very very very popular phone, it's great for texting. Has everything anyone could want, except EVDO speeds. Great for students, you can carry your homwork from home to school on a memory card in the phone, it's small, lightweight.
Don't get the Centro.
They only had issues once, it was with people trying to enter numbers into the phone when it was starting up, a certain combination of numbers sent the phone into panic mode and it erased everything, however that has been fixed.

very popular phone but seems like people get sick of them real quick. my friends have gotten rid of theirs pretty fast...haven't asked why though.

My wife and I have them and love them, though I have only had it for a month, or less so I'll give it time until I get sick of it. However it is a fun phone to use for my position though I am looking more towards a MOTO Qwerty like the MOTO Q (newly updated).

Don't upgrade to the rumor, just hang tight and hang out for a bit with your device to see what the market brings.
