I get a message that says Welcome to American's Roaming Network. We were unable to register your phone. I am unable to make or receive any phone calls as well as unable to send or receive text messages. I was in Boston in New York for the past 10 days.

Did you call Bell to log a trouble ticket while you were there ?

Yes I called them 5 times while down there. They realized that sometimes after the call it would work for a bit of time then cut out again. I think the problem was that my phone was not connecting to a network. The thing that makes me mad is when I phoned them when I got back to follow up, they kept telling me that everytime I phoned it was resolved. Which it was not everytime. He was suggesting that my phone was fine the whole time.

Guess first message I was just wanting to see if anyone else has experienced this problem at all. The second one was just after I got off the phone with them. Now I'm wondering what you guys would do? Go back to the store I bought it from? Try to talk to a supervisor? etc. Didn't mean to go on rant or anything. What have others done in this situation?

It should work in the USA.

I would call the customer care guys back. The person at the store can't do anything for you.
