Cell phones can be registered on the list, said FTC spokesperson Mitch Katz, but there is generally no reason to do so. I saw on the news the other day, that the Registry is only good for 3 or 5 years and that you have to re-register after your time expires.
Why don't they just make it permanent? | | | | |

The National Do Not Call Registry gives you a choice about whether to receive telemarketing calls at home. Most telemarketers should not call your number once it has been on the registry for 31 days. If they do, you can file a complaint at this Website. You can register your home or mobile phone for free.

The Feds were thinking about making the DNC list permant, just heard that on national news late last week. It does not hurt to register every so often just to be sure.
