Fortunately I found out that Motorola has a 1 year factory replacement warranty. Something that T Mobile was not forthcoming about. Got a replacement handset supposedly on the way. We'll see if anything happens! I believe that she got caught in a
sim card scam at Sams yesterday too. They did the exchange paperwork with Motorola for her but told her that the card she was currently using(in her old phone) was automatically killed by the request for service. Also that the type of card she was using wouldn't work in the replacement (?) It was the card from the nonfunctioning razer2! Then sold her a replacement for $10 cash/no receipt with the tale that it was not an inventory item and couldn't be charged because it wouldn't ring up on the register.

I suspect they wiped her old card and one of them needed some extra cash! (she said the guy took it out of a blister pack hanging with others on the display) Don't think she should be allowed out alone anymore.
I agree that this razr hasn't lived up to anyones standard of reliably, but it's what she's stuck with at least until her contract runs out, unless this replacement fails also.
Thanks for answering.
