Interesting question - Bluetooth radiation

Dear Members,

As you can see from my user name, I am not very fond of cellphones due to the radiation they expose you to. Now, I know that it has not been proven that this radiation can give you medical problems, but I am still wary of it.

I read an article on the internet today stating that bluetooth headsets have a much much lower SAR value than a normal cellphone.

I now have the following question: Isn't it safer then to rather use your Bluetooth headset making and receiving calls while keeping your phone at a distance than actually bringing the phone close up to your head?

Your input on this question will greatly be appreciated.

Yes, keeping bluetooth headset with you is better than keeping the phone. Phone emits more radiation.

My thoughts exactly!

Thank you for your reply. I will definitely get me a bluetooth headset for my new phone when I upgrade in a few months.

Yea but theres questions on convenience.

--With the phone in your pocket while using bluetooth would be transmitting Radiation from your pocket to your ear, even worse.

--Keep the phone far away? Sure, that's a better solution, but then you wont be able to see whos calling you. I wish bluetooth headsets can speak and tell you whos calling
