I have the Samsung Alias on Verizon Wireless. I have a 2GB memory card that connects to a digital card reader/writer that connects to my computer through a USB. I bought the card reader/writer at Radio Shack, not through verizon. When I move music from my computer to the memory card, then put the memory card back into my cell, the songs do not show up. They are physically on the memory card, however unable to be played on my phone. Is there a certain format they need to be in? And how do I convert them? Am I missing something?
Thanks.
First, you need to format the card in the phone.
Then put the properly formatted music in the correct folder.
Rngtones in Sounds or Audio, - Mp3 in music folder etc.
See my sticky as an example. (Nextel formats, most phones similar)
I understand that part. However, the card should be ready to go, without needing to be formatted. It already has pictures and videos on it.
Does anyone know what format I need for my phone? And how do I convert it to the correct format?
well if u want the easy way to do it .. go to the store and buy the verizon v-cast music essentials kit witch has the cable and the v-cast set up in it.... install it and it will do everything for u .. and if u dont want to do that ..well then have fun and good luck...
