Picture & Walpaper Quality

Sorry if this has been addressed already. If so, please steer me to the existing thread.

I'm using Bitpim to add pics and wallpaper to my LG1000,
and I notice that when I set the pics as wallpaper, they're all pixelated. I tried to bypass the bitpim's resizing by resizing them to 240x400 in photoshop, which did make the image sharp when used as wallpaper, but in the resizing process, photoshop sort of stretches the image a bit, so it's clear but out of shape.

I'm using PSCS3.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Cheers

You have to use images that are pretty large, around 500+ MB's. You can resize images for use on the outside display by using images less then 500MB, but more then 150MB. Wallpaper for the inside display has to be made from much larger files because of the resize process. You can download very large photos of celebrities from http://forums.superiorpics.com/ubbth...ubbthreads.php . That is where I get most of of my wallpaper. Or you can try out www.ringerpost.com .

uh, they don't have to be that big. It does depend on the original resolution though.

If you're using photoshop, it shouldn't be 'stretching' the image. You should be making a pallet the size of the image you want - copy the image into the pallett - ctrl+T - hold down shift while making it the size of the pallet.
