Hide Caller ID for All Calls

My phone (Motorala V60i) does have a menu option to hide my outgoing Caller
ID for all calls -- only the next call.

Is there a GSM code combination to hide Caller ID for all calls? SBC
charges $25 to set that up.

Just prepend *67 to any number you want to call where your number will
not show on caller ID. This does not work for calls to Law Enforcement
or 800 numbers.

i.e. *67 212-123-4567

*67 is not a GSM code and may not work. That is for a *per call*.
Besides this is for *per call* blocking and they want a code for *all*
calls to be blocked.

Re: Hide Caller ID for All Calls

Hi Jospeph,

The info you provided was exactly what I needed.

Unfortunately, Cingular does not support ##31# as a feature. So I guess i
have to hide my Caller ID on a per call basis, or pay Cingular $25 to
permanently block Caller ID (I'll try to negotiate free setup when i renew
my contract), then reveal my phone number on an ad-hoc basis.

Thanks.

Re: Hide Caller ID for All Calls

I'm in San Diego, California and the ##31# gsm code does not work. If I
want to always block Caller ID as a default, I have to get Cingular to setup
for me at a $25 one-time cost
