Start the text message with the email address. Make sure you add a space,
then type the message you want sent. Send this message to either number 111
or 121.

Depends on the carrier. For T-mobile, send an SMS to 500
Lead with the destination e-mail address, a space, the subject line# (yes,
end the subject line with an octothorp) and then the message. The total of
e-mail-address, space, subject# and message cannot exceed 150 characters
else you flirt with truncation.

DOES NOT WORK WITH ATTWS. A reply message states
"From: +8762
Date: 3/3/04 3:07 pm
You have declined the invitation and will not be joined. This message
is free of charge."

Worked on 2 of 3 tries w Cingular.
So you could text message to your home computer, have it take an action
or look something up and text msg the result back. Hmmm.

Generally yes. You need to specify which service you wish to use to
get the procedure.

Why are you so sure that this is for cingular? sprintpcs was among
the groups that this was posted to. Since the original poster didn't
say what the wireless service was that they are using your information
may not even apply to them.

>=20

I didn't see what carrier you have. SPCS users with SMS-enabled=20
phones can put the email address into the "To" blank of the SMS=20
message they are composing. The message will be sent to the email=20
address.
