SIM cards?

I just got a new Motorola phone, and I want to take my SIM card from my Nokia phone, and put it into my new phone. How do I do this?

you can try calling them. my friend once had this problem and he called the company and asked how to put the sim card into the phone. i think ur suppose to open the back of the phone or something and insert it the way it tells you to.

It varies in all models, but look in the manual for the phones, there will be a section on changing sims!

usally the sim card is seated under the battery, power off the phones, take off the both back covers, remove the batteries and slide the sim cards out and switch (depending on the nokia phone the sim card may be in a plastic holder or grove) note: if you changed service providers your phone may be locked and your old sim card wont work with it, or if you went from a gsm provider ro cdma or vica versa one of your phones wont have a sim card.

If your phone is locked, the only way you can get it unlocked is to call up your service provider and ask them to unlock it, they might have to charge you a fees to unlock your phone.

Yeh there is, depends on what model your phone is. Just by going to google and then search for Network unlock software. (e.g. Nokia phone network unlock software) and just have a look at the result which best suit you.

Once you have find the software read their usage instruction software careful.

the subcidy code for your phone only your service provider can provide. most of moto phone can be unlock only thru data cable solution.

Isn't there any other method (e.g software that generate a code?) on a motorolla? Cause for the nokia phones and a few other brand that I can recall can be done with those software.

But you can only have 5 go at entering the code, on the 6th go you will need a data cable to be able to fix the problem.

Oh okay fair enough, Its just that I remember a few other brand that could unlock the phone using the software.

If you say those are the brand, then that is your answer mocha_chick.

you can check ebay for unlocking software and data cable. if you have only 1 phone to unlock let somebody take the headache for $20 check this site. www.cellularpager.com they unlock, flash, fix any type of phone. s/h is included to the $20 that you send when they return it to you. i can unlock just nokia phone, if i have a hard to unlock phone, i always send it to them.
