I have a 6800a and just recently signed up. What are anyones comments on that phone?

its a good basic text messaging phone, awesome plus is the fm radio!! Kinda old tho...

alright another update, word on the street is on Aug. 1st, a new samsung is coming out, not the one i mentioned before (the e635, which is a slider) its actually going to be the x495, similar to the x475 but the outside screen is an oled display, similar to the one on the e715 and p735 models, but it also has a speakerphone, which is the only added benefit from the x475, also, the Nokia 6101 is scheduled for release in the middle of august, so look out for that one!!!

Just a word on an upcoming phone, not necessarily for t-mobile or anything, but the PEBL v6 is expected to launch within 30-45days, i played with one yesterday and there are still some kinks that motorola has to work out but nothing to serious, so look out RAZR, the PEBL is on the way!

vidguy, whats the big draw with the PEBL? I read up on it and it doesn't seem to have any crazy features, just design, which didn't really impress me anyway..and where the **** do u get to 'play' with all these pre-releases?

is the x475 jus the simple samsung entry level phone? My old contract with a sprint affiliate ends aug 18 and I'm pretty sure I'll be going to tmobile. Is the 6101 going to be affordable, and will the v330/360 be the best bluetooth phone they will be offering middle of august?

illmatic13 - i happen to be one those "privileged" people that gets to "play" with the upcoming releases, and since YOU can't, i tell you about it here!! and the PEBL does have some features, its actually very similar to the RAZR, read a bit more on it and you'll see...
qweds - yes, the x475 is currently the samsung entry level phone that T-Mobile offers, the 6101 should be affordable considering it is a mid range phone, so you shouldn't expect a price of over 100 for that, and as far as the best bluetooth phone, well, considering they are mostly motorolas (v330, v360, v3 RAZR, a630) they're all kinda the same, so either way...

UPDATE - since i started talkin about motorola's so much, i may as well post this here, although i will be makin a new thread specifically for motorolas in the motorola forum, but the RAZR will now be released in a pink version (finally the girls get somethin they like), as well as other colors yet to be determined, the similar thing will happen to the PEBL, currently for the PEBL there are the light blue, light green, pink, and standard colors that are expected for release, if you want a better mental image of the colors think iPod mini colors. Also the ROKR, a music phone should be coming out soon as well. Final word on all you RAZR fanatics (i just became one, i just got me a black one!!), there will another version coming q4 this year with a 1.3 megapixel camera, a music player, and...wait for it....a memory card slot, looks like i know what phone im gettin by years end.....uh-oh, more RAZR news, looks like t-mobile will be gettin their hands on the black version as well, although it has yet to be confirmed for a release date....til next time!!!

Master VidGuy, should i return my razor and wait to get a deal on a sam,sung? is one coming out soon? i hate the razr...once you go samsung, you never go back....will the 720 ever come here!!! that phone would rock the market...

the e720 hasn't been announced by any major US carrier, remember you can still get it off internet sites such as ebay, but t-mobile will be gettin the samsung sgh-e635, it has the following features -
built-in AIM, and yahoo messenger
hifi ringers/megatones/wallpaper downloads
speakerphone
camera (picture only, no video)
picture caller id

the phone is a slider, like the d415, but nicer on size, a little better for the hands, if you decide to wait for it, it should be out within 2 months.

By the way, since you know about the e720, maybe you should check out the e730, i think it looks nicer and it also has a built in fm radio, which is always nice!!

I've got the new MotoV330 and its a great great phone. So far i had it for a two months with no probs. It's graphically upgraded with the best image quality i seen on a phone. Not to mention the Picture quality surpasses any other cell phone. To me it takes pictures just like a $300 digital cam does, not fuzzy like other cell phone pics, and looks like what you took a pic off. Great phone and great features, and so far no problems i love it. I'll be a moto fan for life. I want to get the new Razor v3 but i'll wait till i have to upgrade and the'll prolly be a better version of that.

Alright everyone, not sure if you've all seen it or not, but the Samsung x495 has been launched by T-mobile yesterday, the phone has a selling price of 129.99 with a $80 instant rebate bringing the phone down to 49.99 for new lines of service, still not sure of the upgrade phone pricing yet as the prices listed above are for new customers or existing ones opening a new line of service. Hold on everyone, the nokia flip is almost here!!

I don't know if you've all seen it or not, but the samsung sgh-e635 i mentioned earlier was released by t-mobile on Monday, August 29th, and the phone is selling for 149.99 after a 50$ rebate. Still no word on the Nokia 6101 (argh!!) but ill keep you all posted!

does that new samsung slider have bluetooth?
