razr v3 bios flashing HELP!

Ok, I now have the motorola phone tools and a data cable for my RAZR
and I am trying to find some step by steps on flashing it to a newer
firmware. I currently have 40.9cr which I have been told is very old
and very slow. The very slow part I can tell easily when moving
between menus or other functions with the phone. I have gone to
motomodders and seen the newer bios, but now I just don't know how to
install them on the phone...or what other software I may
need...anybody been down this road successfully and not mind giving me
the low down?

I've done SEEM edits but haven't tried the full flex. Your best bet
may be to look on howardforums which is where I found out about the
whole process.
