thats for paging or SMS... u have to use MMS under your messaging menu to send and receive messages from other cell phone users

Mine came Saturday morning USPS and so far it's been great... integration with Exchange Server is flawless. Good luck calling Nextel, tho... they're still trying to figure out how to make the phone work.

I have found one issue... the phone is Application Locked - which means software non approved by Microsoft is blocked from installing. I purchased imov Messenger to use AIM on the phone, and the install fails. "Installation failed. The program or setting cannot be installed because it does not have the adequate system permissions."

imov doesn't know how to fix it, I spent over an hour talking to Nextel support people and they can't fix it (or even understand it)...

This lock looks like something that has been hacked on other Smartphones in the past...

Any ideas?

Has anyone heard anything (official or semi or otherwise) about when Nextel expects to have i930s in stock again. I ordered mine Friday at 2:00pm and it was immediately backordered. No ONE at Nextel knows anything. Any news out there?

went to get the phone and they said i gotta pay 425 because of tnextel new upgranding policy if you upgaded twice before april 15, 2005 you gotta pay the one yeay price until 2007
