#46 | | Junior Member | I ordered my phone from websales at 1030 the day it released, the 6th. I was placed in a holding fullfillment status for a day....I then called and talked to customer care which is something like having a conversation with my dog....the semi-human on the phone stated that somehow all of my information wasn't carried over....gave her the information again....and she proceded to tell me that the phone is on backorder. I have called for dates a couple times and got everything from Monday the 10th to next week....nobody knows a damn thing. I really hate this company but for work purposes I can't leave. How in the hell does a phone go on backorder the same day it is launched....it is amazing. So now I sit and wait and continue to be angry.

#48 | | Newbie | Well, I've been trying to get Nextel to help with the Application Lock problem for 2 days now... I can't get ANY software to install on it, not from Handango... not from anywhere. Digitally signed doesn't matter... the phone just says NO. NONE of the utils out there to App. Unlock the phone work... you can't even get into the registry (also locked down) and unlock it there.
I did learn that if you're on a support call with Nextel for over 40 mins the phone system there just automatically hangs up on you... they've disconnected me 3 times now.
If you're wanting this phone... I wouldn't bother until either 1) Nextel figures it out or 2) someone hacks this thing and unlocks it for applications. | | |

The fulfillment page still tells me it is backordered, but the (sometimes not so) customer service people have told me a couple of times that it may have been shipped because the system was overwhelmed. Imagine my shock when UPS just drove up. "Wow!" I thought, "They were right!" Unfortunately, it was as disappointing as the rest - it was just a package of the latest issue of the magazine that I am the senior consultant for. Oh, well, maybe when I fly back in next week it will be sitting here waiting for me. | | |

#59 | | Phone Addict | they said 4 days before it ships no matter how you choose to have it shipped. You might find stores that have them but just wont sell them to you for an upgrade. We have 2 left and refuse upgrades all day. $$$ are in new activations and not upgrades so we would rather have one for a new customer. | | |
