yea, supposedly cingular will be picking it up (as usual, ah!) but t-mobile might try to get it quicker than they did with the v3 (8 months!!!). Either way, ill get it, its not like i didnt get a cingular black razr for my t-mobile service before........or a bunch of cingular unlocked phones for that matter......but hey! t-mo is gettin the PEBL!

Looks like the next iTunes phones is ready to be released, look out for the SLVR L7 very soon from cingular, and yes it will have itunes as well with that same 100 song limit. Features include transflash expandable memory, speakerphone, quad-band, bluetooth (maybe even a2dp for stereo bluetooth headsets for your music, still not confirmed), vga camera w/video, voice dial (speaker dependend [record first]). Expected retail still unsure, but looking around the 249.99 range, maybe even 300.

no, the ptt on the slvr is not kodiak, like the system that cingular uses, however, word is a software update form moto can take care of that and enable it for use on cingular, but so far it isnt capable for the PTT networks

That's something new that I haven't heard yet Vidguy... where has the word come from about the update? release date? any more info? I can't think of a phone than is any more perfect than a PTT capable SLVR...

word came from HoFo, people are saying that a software update form moto will be able to allow the PTT to work on cingular's kodiak PTT, however any release date has not been mentioned, and i wish i had more info but i dont. And to be honest, i prefer the v3i over the slvr.

What about the V3x? Isn't that coming out for Cingular, too?

Still no word on that yet, also, Cingular has denied 2 of nokias 3g phones, but hopefully Cingular will get the v3x

Well, it is a GSM phone, right? Couldn't a person get an unlocked V3x and use it that way?

I have yet to see this phone released for Cingular. Any word on it? I'm considering either this phone or the PEBL. Either way, it's has to be the size of the Moto V551 if it's not going to have a keyboard.
