Question about Simple Freedom Wireless

Hello,
i want to get Simple freedom wireless, but dont like their phones, is there a SIM card in Simpe freedom phones ?, what network is it on , TDMA or GSM

Afraid you are SOL. Simple Freedom phones are all CDMA, and operate on Alltel's and Verizon's networks. No SIM cards.

BTW, a friend of mine has had a SF phone (3585i) for about a year and loves it. Excellent reception - in our area (New England) the phone uses Verizon. It will roam on other CDMA networks -- such as US Cellular's -- when there are no Verizon towers, but the per minute rate then goes up to 50¢.

I agree the phone selection isn't the greatest, but service is super.
