best pda for Alltel service

I am looking for advice on the best pda for alltel service and how I can purchase one without a new service plan. Are there ones like for verizon that can be switched to Alltel?

I would check with them first, if its from VZW and its self that are flashed to use their svc and it may not work to use Alltel to use device feature like sms, and etc. I also would check the compatibilty of system type A or B that I know of VZW has most of their devices has ability to switch Network Type A to B, however they both use same CDMA technology. I have no idea how Alltel Network Type is A or B. Again I'd check with provider first.

I would get the PalmOne Treo 650 (or is it the 600 that they sell?), I have heard great review about it.

i would get the palm treo 650 as well..i am selling one LIKE NEW that was bought from them for $500 ONLY because my work is MAKING me carry their phone and frankly, it blows...i will MISS my PALM but, i can't carry two..

the 650 is an awesome phone and if you are sold on alltel coverage, which i am..it is THE PDA smartphone from them to get..

i had the win 6700 and it STANK..low volume, tinny sound and the screen was useless with even an inside light..
