Alltel has alot of good phones, and they are very nicely priced.

I am not going to argue with you, from what I hear, Nextel really blows. So, whats the use of having a super nice phone on a terrible network?

all i can say is sprint isnt all that great... I just switched from them last week mainly cuz i was getting overcharged for what i was getting... $90 for 450 min, 1000 text, and web.. and if you want to change your plan, well congrats on signing another 2 year agreement. .. and their phones arent the best. i had the upstage, that was the most biggest piece of crap out there.. and all other phones they have, you can probly get with alltel, verzion, or whatever, might be a diff version of it. but they are very much the same..... oh and cust service sucks.. i tried to cancle my web for 4 months stright and still connected when i discoed from them.. the only time they care is if you try and cancel..

I bought (2) E-815 phones from alltel they were both junk, they were replaced with refurbished(lol) phones till my warranty expired. Complaint replies continue with "I'm sorry". Motorola also said the same and then posted my complaint as satisfactorially resolved. I will never buy another motorola phone and am being charged for three phone lines with broken phones. Contract is up in 6 weeks. I urge everyone to not buy motorola and drop alltel.

It is good you live in an area that Sprint has decent coverage. The Sprint service here sucks.

I live in a very small town with LOTS of mountains. We have spotty but relatively good Nextel (yes only Nextel) service. (thank god) Around here if you don't have Verizon or ATT, it's Nextel..because Sprint roams in our area. Yeah nice huh? We have nextel, but no sprint. But I can't complain much with Nextel other then a few billing problems at first. I wish everyone luck with their cell problems...maybe once this thing with nextel and sprint is over they will get much better! Take care!
