Can you disable internet in Alltel?

Does anyone know if there is a way to disable the wireless internet connection in Alltel? I have talked to the customer service, and if you do not have a data package, the text messages alone are 25 cents a piece. I remember when I had Nextel, they disabled my internet and I could not receive text messages or access the internet. Thanks for help anyone has to offer!

Alltel can take out the code that will keep you from making or geting text and take the net off your phone too. At least they used to be able 2. Just call cs and tell them you want all that stuff off your phone. If they tell you no just ask for there superviser.

I don't know but I get Unlimited text including pix,vid and internet for 20 bucks a month.

Yes, call CS and they will have to add codes to block text and web.

They are right. All you have to do is call Alltel customer service and ask them to put a block on whatever it is you want blocked. The rep might say they have to talk to a supervisor first to see if they can do it. They will find out they can and will do it. I had my daughter's texting blocked.

best bet is to go into one of their stores.
Sales person can do it while you wait..I disabled EVERYTHING from both my phones except the ability to talk.
