Verizon Wireless, or another specific carrier for certain markets, owns Alltel.

Alltel really isn't a company any more.

I would say the answer is NO.

well i found one thats for alltel, but my friend said you have to get a smartphone contract for a Motorola Q since its a smart phone and he said those are like $100 a month?

so can i not just activate the phone on my current contract?
