I havent lived in my local alltel area for two years. When I moved Alltel said that was not an issue. I officially will be switching to Verizon in April. My questions are: I will not live in an area where verizon has exchanges or a local office. I don't hit a local official Verizon tower for about 15 miles. I have heard from others that have tried to go to verizon in my local community that Verizon would not let them get a phone because it would be roaming. So it wasn't an issue with Alltel why would it be for verizon? Is this true? anyone know, and if so shouldn't I be able to void my contract(but I don't want too because my coverage is AWESOME)?
