It's not "real" Skype- it's a dial around service similar to Mobivox. It
    uses your cellular minutes.

Ah, I see. At least they can call into the Skype users, like
Mobivox can, instead of being in the dark.

Larry, the iPhone has had Skype for many months, and yes it works just
    fine.

That's not Skype! That's a webpage running Skype FOR MONEY!
What's the "purchase" bull****? Skype is FREE!

Webpages disguised as applications is CRAZY!

Does it make Skype Out calls and receive calls from Skype In?
Does it do anything but call Skype-to-Skype, which is what it
    implies on this stupid webpage.

    No, and no.

As you well know, since you've been corrected multiple times, there is no
Skype client for iPhone. iPhone users can use a dial-around callback
service (same as any other cellphone user) which requires cell service,
uses cellular minutes, and costs double Skype credit for international
    calls.

Skype is often used by overseas travelers to avoid using expensive
    cellular roaming minutes. A dial-around service like Shape's doesn't
    avoid
    that.

So, yes, you can call your Skype-using friends from your iPhone, but
SKYPE doesn't work on an iPhone.

When did we start confusing web-page-based resellers with
programs running on the device in your hands? Is this Iphone
    Amnesia?

I read a few forums that says iPhone also won't work with Orb
    (corp.orb.com), the free Video/Audio/Remote control server that's
just wonderful for any mobile that will play WM/Realmedia/3GP
like WMP 9+, Realplayer 9+, Quicktime. Is it true it only plays
MP4? Hell, Orb even plays on a video game (Xbox, Wii,
Playstation3, etc.) and Palm OS, Pocket PC.

It's one of the coolest things playing on my Nokia N800 internet
tablet, over my SELLphone EVDO, anywhere I go. The Realvideo it
plays from the movies at the house looks very professional on the
    little 4.25" screen...(c;
