Of his four claims he has only even *tried* to support one... and then he
noted that even though he could not support it someone of "minimal
intelligence" could. Sad to see him put himself down like that.

What protocol did the first Macs use to talk over LocalTalk? AppleTalk.

I believe that technical articles from wiki are fairly accurate, but not
the ones involving any gov. agency or one individual that works for the Gov.

If CozmicDebris had said he did not trust Wikipedia as an authoritative
source and then explained why he believed AppleTalk was designed as an I/O
bus for printers and the like then maybe he would not have been able to rise
to the occasion and act reasonably. Instead he claimed his completely
unsupported comments about AppleTalk were accurate and Wikipedia *and* Apple
were both wrong - though he gave not a shred of support for his claim and,
worse yet, sank to name calling, spewing of accusations, and other such
non-sense.
What is it with people from Colorado who post to CSMA? Seriously? Are they
all just one person posting with a bunch of sock puppets? Maybe it is a
group of people working in concert - or trying to in any case. Not all
people from Colorado are like those who post to CSMA... so there has to be
some other explanation as to why they share so many traits in common.

Snit's main 'advantage' to enjoy at this point in his life is his never
ending prescription drug stash... it has him believing that there are
only about 4 people who live in CO

The only thing I know about Colorado is that their freeway on ramps
really suck. There isn't a merge lane... you just get dumped right into
fast moving traffic. Plus I found them to be rude.

I spend some time in Denver a number of years ago... doing a post-college
bus tour of the country with a friend. I got quite sick as I was heading to
Denver and the Stout Street Clinic took *very* good care of me and pushed
any effort to pay them away. I ended up sending them a check later as a
token of my appreciation - the truly went above and beyond. I had little
problem with the people I met, but the folks I was staying with at a youth
hostel used to play a game they called "porch television" where they would
count the gun shots as they watched the hookers and pimps and fights and
other happenings. I also stayed at a motel for a bit - and learned a
lesson: if the person showing you a room asks "Will this do", and you say
"yes" and they respond in a surprised way and as "Are you sure?", then no
matter how tired you are look closer at the room!
Overall I have *nothing* against Colorado nor its people - but as far as I
know *all* people from Colorado who post to CSMA are irrational, angry, and
perhaps delusional. There are many people - most even - who I have no idea
where they post from, so there clearly could be exceptions. Still, when
"different" people apparently from the same general area use similar
phrases, make the same bizarre and ignorant mistakes in logic, and otherwise
act in odd and similar ways it makes sense to consider the strong
possibility they are somehow connected by more than geography - a group of
people who know each other or even sock puppets.

I live in a city with - generally - quite clean air... though local forest

And now you sink to more insults... trying to bury your claims without
supporting them. To re-focus you, if possible, here were your claims:
* Wikipedia is wrong about Apple technologies... but you are right.
* Apple is wrong about Apple technologies... but you are right.
* I am wrong about how to ***** my online name... but you are right.
* You can find a $700 laptop that does more than the Mac Oxford
pointed to.
So far you have failed to even try to support three of the four... and with
the forth you waved your white flag when you were asked to explain your view
(and hence offered no real support on that one, either).
And in response you will dodge again and offer not a single word of support
for your claims. Oh well, it is not as though you are not completely
predictable.

And when in doubt, you go back to the same old whine. The only one that
needs to be re-focused is you, Snot. However, from what I'm gathering, the
little bit that's left of your brain would make that a difficult task.
