Sprint is the BOMB! They have the best phones and the best network. That is
really fast data especially if you use the phone as a modem.

Look-alike? Wouldn't it be nice if it also had the same performance
and specifications; and wasn't stuck using the Spint 1900 MHz Network
with more Network dead zones, and poor building penetration; not to
mention the abysmal SprintPCS customer Service that creates the
highest churn, both of Customers and CSRs.

No wonder they keep firing their CEOs. The only thing Sprint does well
is run Nextel into the ground.

The Everything for $100 model that Sprint is pushing now won't fly
with 90% of America that needs a family plan. Most folks can't afford
$350 +/month for their 4 family members; and with the current Bush
recession, many folks are learning to do without cell phones again.

Poor little troll- so mouthy yet so uneducated. I see nothing's changed
excpet that you are now a blatent liar.

The $100 plan is simply the tip of the iceberg and the most expensive of
    the Simply Everything plans.

BTW- I don't see unlimited family plans being offered by anyone else.

The lame look-alike also lacks WiFi and has a smaller screen.

Exactly why Sprint should consider one. They need to do something
before they have to put themselves up for sale.

How in God's name could you administer an unlimited family plan? The
possibility of fraud (account splitting by non-"families") would be huge.
The only reason family plans "work" for cell carriers now is because each
user is sharing the same pool of minutes with the other users. I wouldn't
share my 1000 minute family plan with, say, a couple of buddies, because the
possibility of overages is too great- with unlimited that goes away-
suddenly co-workers, frat buddies, neighbors, etc. would be "families."

    > They need to do something
    > before they have to put themselves up for sale.

Give Hesse some time- I suspect he'll get Sprint back on course given a
little time and patience. Sprint hasn't hit the iceberg yet.

The idea of a sellphone "commune" has always intrigued me. We get a group
of friends together...say 500. We make a deal with the sellphone ****heads
for a 500-phone unlimited nationwide business plan, with all the toys and
data, which everyone with any brains KNOWS is much cheaper than 500
individual user accounts cost....then, go get our phones and pay ONE bill
    to the sellphone ****heads!

Whatever the costs, we simply divide by 500 using some really heavy
hardware/software and there's your monthly bill.

I bet a corp with a 500 unit sellphone account even gets them to work in
    Europe!

A commune corp costs us $500 in Delaware, where all the crap corps go.

If we have trouble, a 500 unit account speaks with a LOT more noise than a
1 or 2 unit account in a churning environment. They treat IBM differently
    than us.

I bet the XYZ Corporation with 500 units DOESN'T get nasty letters *****ing
at them for using too much data, don't you think?

    Today, April 03, 2008, 19 hours ago
Despite next-gen networks and haptics tech continuing to break on
through to the realistic side, the year's big cellphone trade show
disappointed Gizmodo's man on the floor because, well, the iPhone's
    still just too good.

It most certainly has. The Iceberg even has a name. Nextel.

AT&T Mobile will even (for free) install equipment so their signal
will work anywhere in your office building, if you are a big business
    account.

The imatator can only get up to 8 Gig (if you separately buy a Flash
Ram card), and it has no WiFi. There are many places in the United
States where WiFi is free and easy to find, but Sprint Wirelss
    Broadband doesnt exist yet.
