Since upgrading to Mobile 6 (I wish I hadn't done that), attempts to install
programs to the micro-SD card fail. The install proceeds to the point of
'install on device or storage card'. If I click storage card, it proceeds
installing the code to the storage card. However, when you click on the
program name or icon, the error 'unsigned or component missing' appears.

A cellular programmer tells me the location and names are in separate
registries, so the code may be going one place but Mobile 6 thinks it is
located somewhere else. I can locate the software on the SD. It is not in
the Storage Card/Programs folder. It will not launch. The program icon is in
Start/Programs. Remove Programs knows where it is and successfully
    uninstalls.

After the cab installs, it launches the program (Microsoft Local.Live)
correctly ONE TIME. Then I receive an error upon successive attempts to
    launch.

    Anyone else had this problem?

You can uninstall mobile 6 On my treo it came with 5 on rom. RTM on how to
restore from rom like it came out of the box. Of course you will lose all
    your installed apps.

It looks like Acronis/Mobile 6 may be the cause. At the time I bought
    Acronis, their literature stated you could backup the Mobile 5 environment;
restore to Mobile 6. Level 2 support stated that wasn't possible. In
addition Mobile 5/6 does not always remove all traces of all programs. I
found a 'un-installed' copy of Live on the device, the 'installed' version
on SD. When Mobile 6 tried to launch Live, the device link was broken. I
manually deleted the hidden device copy; that one program started running
    from the m-SD.
