On the iPhone the Hurricane VoIP net just passed control from Connie
in Honolulu to a N0BRT. Right now there are Marine Warnings and
Tornado warnings being broadcast for Pensocola and Mobile area.

I-10 will have a tornado pass over it at 3:45 CDT. This is unusual in
that it is moving from the east to the west.

You can listen to the LA EOC and Public Safety stations Larry
mentioned by visiiting the LA scanner page and changing the web
browser option to iTunes and then selecting the various links which
will play in iTunes.

Right now the storm is intensifying over the coast and many tornadoes
are dropping both onshore and just offshore.

Pull up the NOLA traffic cams and the streets are all empty except for
I-10.

BTW a ham with EM just heard a loud tornado about 1 mile south of I-10
a minute ago. It is hard to spot these things in the darkness, wind
and rain.
