it's already been shown to be false.

Noone is going to snoop on Skype with its 256-bit AES encryption. Every
call has a new encryption key sent over the user network making it
undetectable through the millions of routes possible. Even if you have the
resources of the CIA or NSA it would take HOURS, even DAYS to find the key,
test it on the data stream to see if it would lock to the voice data.
They'd never get the key before your call has been over for hours and
hours....making Skype calls amazingly secure. Skype has been threatened by
many governments and bureaucracies over its encryption and has yet to
buckle under the pressure as they are in Luxemborgh, where personal secrecy
is what makes Luxemborgh filthy rich guarding the secret money of the
elite. To disclose personal info in Lux is a nasty offense, unlike the USA
where it's just a matter of a lawyer-judge's signature.
