Big Brother, huh? I think you mean "Enhanced 911".
You *do* realize that if you're afraid The Man will track you down and
stomp you with his steel-toed jackboot, you can set the location feature
to "E911 Only" and avoid dialing 911, right?

You are referring to the protest marches against the Democratic
Convention in New York, I presume.........A special place has been
prepared from them...isolated and distant from the convention center.
BTW, the Democrats are setting it up.

Like he said: Gee, like that never happens anywhere else in life.
If you buy a car, you get seatbelts, air bags, and a catalytic
converter. If you buy a radio scanner, you get a block on the cellular
frequencies. If you buy a large TV, you get a V-chip and closed caption
decoder. You get all those things even if you don't want them, thanks to
government mandates.

Whenever any technology is shown on CSI, you can be 99% sure it doesn't
really work that way in real life. I don't know why they even bother
using computers and science jargon on there... it's not a show about
police officers, it's a show about wizards in uniform, using their magic
powers to solve crimes.

You presume too much, grasshoppa. Maybe you should read his link instead
of guessing at what it says...

In the Klinton tradition..
White House uses 'security threat' ploy to keep Clinton protesters at bay
Capitol Hill Blue
Doug Thompson
Not for commercial use, solely for "fair use" discussion and education.
Citing "a threat to the President's safety," White House officials are
using Secret Service agents to keep protesters out of sight of both Bill
Clinton and news media.
"The Secret Service has been instructed to remove any and all protesters
from any immediate proximity to the President," a White House aide
confirmed Wednesday. "The 'official' reason cited is the protesters pose
a threat to the President. The real reason is to keep them away from the
television cameras."
The plan, devised by White House communications advisor Sidney J.
Blumenthal, is aimed at the increasing number of protesters who have
appeared at events since the impeachment process began against Clinton
last year.
"Mr. Blumenthal told the President the presence of such protesters could
affect his job approval numbers," one White House source said. "It was
his idea to concoct the 'security threat' issue so the Secret Service
could be instructed to keep the protesters out of sight."
At a Presidential appearance in Texarkana last week, protesters carrying
placards that read "Impeach him Again" and "There's a Pervert in our
Neighborhood" were herded away from the front of the hotel where Clinton
was arriving. Secret Service agents moved the protesters to the rear of
the building, away from both the public and media view.
Blumenthal has reportedly referred to the protesters as "malcontents"
and "crazies" and suggested it would be easy to convince the Secret
Service that the presence of such protesters posed a security threat to
Clinton.
"He said that anybody who opposed Clinton must be a nut so it made sense
to keep them away from the President," a White House source said
Wednesday night. "He said it with a straight face."
Some aides reportedly argued against the practice, saying the use of
Secret Service in such a way could backfire on the President and give
the appearance of a secret police.
"What are they going to do," Blumenthal is reported to have sneered,
"vote against him in the next election?"
Neither the Secret Service nor the White House would comment on the
report Wednesday, but other sources told Capitol Hill Blue that the
practice would continue "until further notice."

I did read it, but it was about the 42nd president of the United States,
Bill Clinton. I still don't know who this "Klinton" person is, even
though you've mentioned him in at least two posts. Maybe you need to
increase your medication?

Keep pondering, one day you might figure it out.
