Re: Cingular's Music Tones
I think they are awful. Why do I want to play a song when someone calls
me? So I can wear that song out so bad that every time I hear it I
cringe? Why aren't there any good sounding plain ringtones?

What type ringer does your phone support? I have one on my T616 named "old
phone'. It is as plain as it gets. It sounds identical (as the name implies)
to an old phone. If you can use midi ringers, I will gladly send it.

You think midis are cool on V400? Check out
http://www.myPhoneFiles.com with Voicetones Studio. You can make real
voice ringers that's sound absolutely stunning on V400. I had to get
that phone once I heard it for myself.
You can take pretty much any regular CD or an MP3 (or WAV) file,
highlight a part of a sing and make it into a voice ringer. Make sure
"MP3 Ringtone" option is set before you push "Make ringtone" button.
Then send it to the phone straight from the computer. Gets addictive
pretty quickly.
