Anyone into writing/transscribing their own "ring songs" ?

I did a couple but there seems to be an octave issue. If I write
something simple like a - b - c, the "a" plays an octave higher than
the b and c notes. Anyone figured out how to get it to play
in the same octave (lower tone) as the "b" ?

    Thanks,

    Open your "Settings>>Media Center>>My Tones>>[New Tone}". Proceed as
if composing a new tone, but when you get to the "Notes" entry page,
push the "Menu" (Middle) button and then push the "Help" button. Your
octave problem will be explained, among other things.

Thanks Jack... that hit the nail on the head... way more than I hoped
that I would get in programmability. I'm off to program "The Thrill
is Gone" ring, but I won't say why I need it :-)
