I work in customer service for cingular, the two are still completely
different companies, you will roam off of what ever tower you are
closest to regaurdless of the carrier. The v400's do have some known
product advsiories if your having problems with it, just have it
    looked at

    See More: at&t and cingular

    You Bet!

Good News: Cingular will reflash the phone for you for free!
Bad News: Reflashing will likely will make phone totally unusable
    (destroyed).

Question: What do they do in the technical/service departments now days
besides changing batteries and installing/removing car kits?

Not a thing. Just use it and enjoy the "new" phone. Shouldn't be a problem.

If there are any bugs or problems, you will discover them without the
agravation of some of the TROLLS here making up things for arguments sake.

    recall

To request return (of a product) to the manufacturer, as for necessary
    repairs or adjustments.

How can this be done in secret?
