    Just got a moto v600 via cingular

    whats is my sim pin or sim pin2 code???

    before I try this 3 times and funk up my sim card what would that number
    be???

    I know that factory unlock code for the phone is 1234 and the security code
    is 000000 but the sim code????

    you'll need to get that from cingular c/s, just call and advsd you need your
    PUK codes for sim card

    I called cingular they had no clue what I was talking about a looked on the
    net had some hits and tried

    for Sim Pin1 = 1111 and Sim Pin2 = 2222 which worked for me!

    All I got was the PUK code from cingular....Yeah.....

    They need to put cingular customer service back in California where
    they know about GSM. Those folks in San Antonio are totally clueless
    about the workings of GSM. cingular installed all the GSM equipment,
    but they forgot to let their customer service reps know about GSM and
    how it works.

    If memory serves, Cingular has six call centers - all in the U.S.
